 Summary

  "Abre Caminos"

A musical Commitment

This is a contribution to the culture and to avoid economic and cultural crisis in Argentina.

The project consists of a didactic performance to show original folk instruments and rhythms from Jujuy. Due to globalization it is necessary to show our culture and to value our origins. In this way we get to know our roots.

We propose attendance to these shows to interact with the music; dancing, singing and making instruments. It is a great opportunity to get children close to the Argentine cultural expressions and identity.

This activity (Abre Caminos) was declared of "Cultural Value" in different Provinces. Apart from that it set an example during the "II Artistic Education National Congress" and the "III International Education Congress". It has also been successfully performed in over 300 schools in Jujuy, Santa Fe, Cordoba, Buenos, Aires, Tucuman, Santiago del Estero, Rio Negro, Chubut, Neuquen and Catamarca.

The shows are taking part in schools, theaters, benefit institutions or where scholar authorities decide to place the show. The show lasts 60 minutes, taking into account the age of the participants.
